Nestled on our five-acre slice of heaven, Brooks Family Homestead™ is more than just land—it’s a full-blown, animal-filled sitcom with a little bit of everything. We’ve got sassy goats, spoiled hens, buzzing bees, veggie and flower gardens, nosey cats, and overenthusiastic dogs—plus a farmhouse from the 1800s full of creaks, quirks, and a whole lot of love.
And yes… the animals absolutely run the place. 🐐🐔🐝🐶🐱

Life here is beautifully unpredictable thanks to a cast of characters that keep every day interesting:
🐶 The Doggos
Our four-legged security team includes Izzy, Patches, Dinga, and Buddy—loyal, loud, and always on high alert for delivery trucks and goat shenanigans.
🐱 The Barn Cats (and Couch Queens)
Sox, Boots, Orange, and Phantom split their time between hunting mice, sunbathing, and supervising everyone’s business from the nearest windowsill or hay bale.
🐐 Brooks Goatie Haven™
Our bottle-raised Boer crosses—Truffles Sassy Pants, Frost-er, Squishy, Onyx, Pugsley, and Wednesday—think they’re royalty. And they kind of are.
🐓 Brooks Hen Haven™
Pasture-raised, totally pampered, and louder than most toddlers—our hens lay eggs so good you’ll never go back to store-bought.
🍯 Brooks Honeybee Apiary Haven™
Our bees buzz through wildflowers and herb beds, crafting the sweetest golden honey and keeping our gardens happy and pollinated.
🌱 Brooks Garden Haven™
We grow heirloom vegetables, medicinal herbs, and plenty of flowers—organically and with intention. Food, beauty, and healing all rooted in one patch of soil.

We’re adding rabbits to the mix—because clearly, we don’t have enough fur flying around here yet.
🌿 Brooks Apothecary Kitchen™ (Launching This Fall)
Our handmade salves, tinctures, and wildcrafted remedies are made from our gardens and foraged plants—offering slow, natural care you can trust.

Between goat escapes, clucking hens, buzzing bees, kids in the garden rows, and cats napping in the feed room, there’s always something blooming, baa-ing, barking, or brewing. It’s messy, magical, and full of meaning—and we wouldn’t trade it for anything.
